I-9 Authorized Representative for Your Remote Hires in Illinois

Your company is out of state, your new hire is in the Chicago area, and Form I-9 Section 2 still needs someone to examine their original documents. We act as your authorized representative: the employee comes to our Naperville office (or we go to them), we review the originals and complete Section 2, and send the form back to you.

How it works for HR

Email us the new hire’s name, start date, and your I-9 instructions (or a blank form). The employee completes Section 1 and brings their unexpired documents of choice. We complete Section 2 and return the paperwork to you.

What we don’t do

Completing an I-9 is not a notarial act, so there’s no notary seal. We don’t tell employees which documents to present, run E-Verify on your behalf (unless separately agreed), or give immigration advice — and the employer remains responsible for the I-9. Check current guidance at uscis.gov/i-9.

4. One monthly invoice for everything — no applicant pays at the counter and nobody chases receipts for reimbursement.

Can this be done over video?
The standard I-9 process requires physical examination of original documents. The DHS remote alternative procedure is only available to qualified E-Verify employers — confirm with USCIS whether it applies to you.

Do you come to our location?
