These are the door-to-door travel prices. Document fees are separate and stack on top: notarization is capped at $5 per notarial act, and the apostille service fee starts at $99 per document. Same-day, rush, evening, and weekend visits may add a fee — we'll always tell you the total up front. Apostille prices reflect two trips: we collect your documents, then hand-deliver the apostilled originals back.

Do I need to be there?
For a notarization, yes — the signer has to be present with valid photo ID when we notarize. For apostille of documents that are already notarized or state-issued, you don't need to be present beyond the pickup and drop-off.
Is it faster than mailing documents in?
Usually, yes. Hand-carrying skips the mail both ways and removes the risk of a document being lost in transit, and we can often walk Illinois documents into the state quickly.
